Once the fire was extinguished, the vessels were towed to a boatyard in Chula Vista, CA.

AMS was contacted to valuate possible salvage value and disposal costs of the vessels and their equipment.

AMS was able to return to the Insurance Companies their cost of the boatyard expenses.

AMS handled the total disposal operation of 3 of the 4 vessels and the sale of all the salvageable equipment for our clients.

AMS handled the disposal of all the hazardous waste materials such as contaminated water in the vessels’ hulls, fuel, burnt fiberglass material, engine oils and lubricants and electrical equipment and materials at a savings to the Insurance Companies.

AMS was able to salvage and liquidate the vessels’ mechanical equipment that helped offset the Insurance Companies costs tremendously.
